Edoceo Group is taken from the Latin – Edoceo – which translates to “teach or inform thoroughly” – a core concept for all of our education programmes. 

The pre-cursor for Edoceo Group was the UK’s Pre-Hospital Care Services, a specialist training organisation providing first aid and paramedical education programmes for both individuals – including healthcare professionals – and businesses and organisations. This included multi-agency incident training with casualty moulage and training for specialist industry first response teams (pictured). On emigrating to Australia in 2008, the decision was made to focus on designing and running continuing education programmes for the pre-hospital environment. 

Courses are specifically designed by qualified clinical educators, who are AHPRA registered clinicians with post-graduate qualifications in education and training. Education programmes are often a combination of case-study based discussions, skill-stations and scenarios, with moulage and purpose-designed manikins and task-trainers to create effective learning opportunities.

We recognise that our students come from a multitude of work backgrounds with varying life experiences, so sessions are designed to take this into account and that diversity brings enrichment to the learning environment.

Our educators are knowledgeable and highly skilled processionals, who maintain currency or practice and registration. Our training programmes are designed to be immersive and interactive, delivered to small groups which allows students to benefit from more individualised learning.
