12-lead ECG interpretation
The aim of this workshop is to develop the ability to accurately interpret 12-lead ECGs for effective recognition for patients experiencing acute coronary syndromes (ACS). The course includes a systematic approach to the 12 Lead ECG; the importance of patient history and examination; the 12 Lead ECG in Acute Coronary Syndromes; ACS mimics; Bundle Branch Blocks; and discusses the benefits of using OMI (Occlusive Myocardial Infarction) rather than STEMI paradigm.

The course utilises an understanding of how cardiac electrophysiology and pathophysiologic mechanisms translate to the rhythm strip, enabling students to recognise and manage a variety of common and life-threatening arrhythmias.

The Pre-hospital Trauma Management course provides pre-hospital professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully assess, triage and manage acute trauma patients. The course covers the technical skills, knowledge and critical decision-making required to perform effectively as a pre-hospital clinician, includes teamwork, communication, and technical skills required to manage trauma.
